YTSAB utilizes a large inventory of tooling designed to fit your production requirements. In some cases our staff oversees the design and development of custom tooling equipment for your plating needs. We design and fabricate the necessary equipment via a number of outside contractors, depending on specialization and needs. These contractors are all considered experts in their tooling skills and are utilized for our jigs, fixtures and plating racks required to meet the needs of the particular job.
With rack plating, the parts are affixed to a jig during plating to hold them in place and prevent damage.
Preparing an RFQ for surface treatment in Sweden
Send the part number, drawing revision, exact material grade, dimensions, batch quantity and required finish. Identify critical surfaces, masking boundaries and dimensions that apply after treatment. If a customer specification is mandatory, include its reference and revision.
Separate appearance requirements from functional requirements. A colour name alone does not define corrosion performance, coating thickness or electrical contact properties. State how the part will be used and which tests or records are required.
Confirm the receiving facility and delivery arrangement before dispatch. Arboga and Eskilstuna offer different treatment processes. Keep part numbers and revisions separate in the packaging and use the same order reference on documents and labels.
