YTSAB offers silver plating using the Ag O-56 process. Explain whether the priority is electrical function, appearance or another specified property.
Define the function of the silver coating
Atotech describes Ag O-56 as a high-purity silver-plating process with adjustable deposit characteristics, including brightness and hardness. General supplier data are not an automatic test result or approval for each finished component.
Electrical contact requirements
If the coated surface forms an electrical contact, describe the mating surface and assembly. Provide the required test method and acceptance limits. A material name or appearance description cannot replace a functional specification.
Substrate, existing coatings and appearance
Send the full material grade and information about earlier coatings or preparation. Mark visible areas, masking and critical dimensions. Identify any appearance reference and agree how it will be assessed.
